Assistant Technologist

Our client is an Organic and Bio Dynamic Farm based in North Hampshire.

They are currently looking for a Food Science Graduate to join their technical function providing accurate information both internally to colleagues and externally to suppliers and customers (customer questionnaires and technical queries)

• Generate accurate specifications for finished products and raw materials.
• Ensure all specifications meet the appropriate standard and are kept up to date with packaging, recipes etc
• Liaise with product development teams in order to design and create effective product specifications for all products manufactured by the company, in accordance with procedures.
• Maintain the Quality Management Systems in accordance with BRC v 5, Internal Reviews/Audits & Customer Requirements, which includes document control for technical/operating standards, policies and procedures.

• To ensure any third party accreditations are maintained and adhered to.
• To be an active member of the HACCP team
• Use to dealing with the FSA and EHO

The role would suit a Graduate - who wants to get ahead in their career, can think outside the box and comes up with solutions. You’ll have to work well under pressure and have a can do attitude.
